DHS Safety services

DCS delivers high quality, cost-effective safety services, on your schedule and right to your location.

Site Audits

We will audit your facility or off-site location, job site or satellite office to ensure compliance with your own safety policy, Provincial Ministry of Labour requirements, and identified best practices.

The results of these audits are provided in a clear, concise format along with suggested corrective actions where required.

Site audits are usually completed within a day (depending on site size and number of shifts) and form an integral part of a company’s due diligence plan.

Program Development

DCS will tailor-make an Occupational Health & Safety program that concentrates on prevention rather than reaction. This program is designed specifically for your firm to ensure you are meeting all of your legal requirements, while addressing job hazards, safe operating procedures, and hazard awareness specifically for your location.

Investigations

Accidents can be stressful for the injured worker, their fellow employees, and the company itself.

It’s absolutely necessary to conduct a thorough investigation that identifies all root causes, suggests corrective actions, communicates any policy changes, and finally audits these changes for implementation and compliance.

DCS has investigated over 500 workplace injuries. Our investigators are all former law enforcement investigators with experience in handling all types of workplace accident/incident investigations.

Coupled with our medical staff, engineering contractors and provincial compensation board specialists, we can provide you with the expertise and attention to detail needed to successfully investigate and manage your workplace investigation.

Safety Staff

DCS provides short- and long-term safety staff for off-site projects, remote projects, vacation/maternity leave coverage, construction projects and special events.

All of our safety staff are WSIB part 1 & 2 certified with additional training in industrial safety, construction safety, and advanced first aid.
